Despite the foul weather, it was a pleasure to attend a packed Fairfield Hall last night and to hear some beautiful classical music, some familiar and some not, including one piece by a Ukrainian composer.
More broadly, it was also a pleasure to support such a worthy cause and to express sympathy and solidarity with the long-suffering people of this great country.
