Several residents have been in touch about over growing vegetation through the fence separating the railway tracks from the pavement on Little Roke Road. Little Roke Road leads to Harris Primary school and Kenley Sports Club.
The sprouting trees were encroaching on to the pavement causing a restriction on an already narrow congested pavement, forcing people to walk in the road and they are also at eye level for most of the pupils.
As responsibility for cutting this back belongs with Network Rail, I contacted them to ask for the the vegetation to be cut back and this was completed last week.
