Back in February, I reported on plans to create a new pocket park outside the parade of shops near New Valley School. I am delighted to announce that the park is now finished!
The new park features a bug hotel, a bird box, a notice board, play apparatus for children, a soft tactile surface, seating, and robust, low-maintenance plants. It looks fantastic, and it has been wonderful to receive messages from residents about how much the park has transformed the area. Many have mentioned what a pleasant diversion it provides for children on their way to and from school.
