Following on from previous work related to the decommissioning of the Beddington to Rowdown electricity distribution cable, essential work is taking place starting 27th September 2021 to remove cable joints and oil tanks next to the island junction between Farnborough Avenue and Farnborough Crescent. The work will take four to six weeks. As a result, a partial road closure with a three-way traffic light system, will be installed for the duration of the works.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. Saturday 8am to 1pm.
