Meeting with Friends of Wettern Tree Gardens, Purley Oaks

This morning I was shown around Wettern Tree Gardens, which is a hidden Gem in the Purley Oaks/Sanderstead area in Croydon. I had never visited this site, and was pleased to learn that they previously had Green Flag Status, a scheme which I am hoping we can restart once our finances are under better control. 

There is such a fantastic history to this site, and we need to do more to advertise this on our website. I will be looking into how we can better link the councils website and friends of groups websites/social media pages.
