Meeting with Friends of Sanderstead Plantation

Today I was shown around Sanderstead Plantation with the fantastic Friends of Group. 

This small group of diligent volunteers have completely transformed the space for all to enjoy, pathways are regularly maintained, they have planted a number of new trees in partnership with our trees department. 

I was surprised to learn that within this site is the highest point in Croydon, I always thought that was Crystal Palace, which is where I grew up. 

I have taken a number of issues and concerns to officers.
