Meeting Friends of Purley Beeches

Today I met with the friends of Purley Beeches. 

Yet another example of the community coming together to look after their community space for everyone to enjoy. 

This is an example of a very well organised group of volunteers, and skills I am hoping to spread across all of our 47+ groups in Croydon, I was to move away from siloed working. I am looking at ways of repurposing the Friends of forum, and how it can better support the volunteers and the council going forward.
