I was contacted this morning by a local resident to flag a manhole cover collapse on Foxley Lane at the junction with Woodcote Valley Road.
A car was unfortunately stuck in the hole causing a massive jam all the way up Foxley Lane.
I immediately raised this and received confirmation from the Head of Highways that contractors were enroute to this site.
This issue has now been rectified and the man cover replaced. My thanks go to the resident for informing me and to the Highways team for sorting this with such speed.
