This week I was very pleased to visit Peony Court, Care Home on the edge of Park Hill and next to the local Over 60s Club.
Louise Wood, Advisor for Peony Court, very kindly showed me around the refurbished facility and explained that the Home will be opening for residents in the Autumn.
Louise outlined that Peony Court Care Home, will provide 24-hour residential care and short-term respite stays, with bespoke care plans providing individualised care, treatment and support for each resident.
Louise also outlined how important she felt it was to provide consistent, high quality care to everyone they care for and support.
It was great to hear that they are very keen to make sure the new residents feel very much part of the community in Park Hill and Whitgift, and Louise has already been in touch with neighbours to welcome them to open days and connect with them.
I know how crucial quality care is in homes like Peony Court, along with the need for relatives to be reassured that their loved ones’ wellbeing is the top priority.
I look forward to returning to visit when residents have arrived and working with the Home to support their residents and staff in delivering high quality local care.
