Today I was shown around Love Lane Community Garden in South Norwood.
This is a fantastic example of a community coming together to improve a previously neglected space, where anti social behaviour was rife. They have transformed the space, and installed a community garden and children's play space working with the council and National rail, who own the adjacent land next to the railway track.
Grass cutting schedule and Grafitti removal were discussed as the dominant topics that they needed support with going forward. I know that Mayor Jason Perry will attend their AGM, and we will work with them however we can.
