Just before the Local Elections in May the Labour dominated Planning Committee pushed through the planning application for 270 Selsdon road. During Labours eight years in power they worked to intensify development in the south of the borough with countless blocks of flats replacing family homes.
The application for 270 Selsdon road was for a 3/4 block of flats on the corner of Selsdon road and Carlton Ave. One of the largest proposed I have seen this will affect the amenities of residents of Carlton Ave and Selsdon road and change the character of the local area.
