SES Water have just confirmed that the closure on Hayes Lane and Kenley Lane will remain in place until Monday evening 24th April.

SES Water have provided an update to the ongoing emergency in Kenley Lane. They will be now also be closing Hayes Lane between its junctions with Park Road and Kenley Lane within the next four hours. The diversion for the additional displaced traffic will be via Park Road /Hayes Lane /Buxton Lane /Salmons Lane West /Whyteleafe Hill / A22 Godstone Road. Diversion signage will have symbols to identify the two diversion routes. The works could continue into the weekend but I will keep you updated.
15:00 on 18th April
Following the burst water main on 17th April at the junction of Kenley Lane and Hayes Lane, SES Water have closed Kenley Lane between its junctions with Hayes Lane and Redwood Close.
The signed diversion for displaced traffic is via A22 Godstone Road / Whyteleafe Hill /Hornchurch Hill /Beverley Road /Valley Road. The road is expected to be reopened by 21st April.
