Works have been completed to rectify drainage on the wooded part of Old Lodge Lane. This stretch had become impassable by pedestrians and concerning for vehicle drivers. These were completed on 22nd February and I’ve been pleased to receive reports that heavy rain no longer collects. Good news for those visiting the Wattendon pub!
The council has also placed heavy logs in the layby of footpath 41 which has seen a spate of flytipping in recent months. By blocking off the layby, flytippers are no longer able to use it to turn, and I hope that this will help to prevent the massive flytips there lately.
