Following years of decay and disinterest from Croydon Council there appears to be better news for the former Rail View Public House and local residents. Following information from residents reporting activity at the site I contacted the Council to check what was going on fearing the worst.
The building has been sold on October 4th to a local company. The company intend to restore the building for use as their offices with car parking behind. If this does indeed happen it will be good news for local residents and the local area. Hopefully years of blight and anxiety for local residents will be at and end.
