Road Safety and improvements in Kenley’s shopping parades have been issues raised by residents over the years and as a result of consultations with Croydon Council and Transport For London there have been some recent upgrades to Hayes Lane & Godstone road. The recently installed Zebra crossing near Hayes Primary School gives parents and children a safer option to crossing over to the school gates. The A22 Godstone road upgrades have included pavement improvements and new ‘Love Kenley’ pole banners encouraging residents to support our local businesses.
