One of our biggest complaints from local residents is missed bin collections and a lack of adequate street cleaning.
I am pleased that the Council has launched a survey on the future of waste collections and street cleaning services in Croydon. It asks about your experience with services to date, areas for improvement and what priorities we should focus on.
Our current contract with Veolia ends in 2025 which gives the Council an opportunity to make changes and ensure that the services meet residents’ needs and our environmental targets. Ultimately, the administration wants to get the best contract it can for residents and it’s important feedback is taken on board.
I would encourage residents to respond to the survey and have their say. It closes on Friday 25th February.
