The Council has informed us that the Green Waste Collection has been suspended
it looks like Covid 19 has affected Veolia who are suffering staff shortages particularly drivers with HGV licenses and in order to protect key services like general waste collections, food and clinical waste collections and recycling services green garden waste has been suspended until further notice.
The advice is to leave you green garden waste bin out for collection
it is of course a paid service and if the service is not resumed soon we will press for refunds.
There is a lot of confusion among residents, once again Veolia and the Council have failed to keep residents informed about bin collection changes.
