To facilitate an emergency repair on a gas leak SGN have had to close Woodplace Lane between its junctions with The Netherlands and Drive Road. Access will be available in either direction for residents up to number 87. The signed diversion for displaced traffic is via Brighton Road into Dean Lane > Netherne Lane > Cayton Drive > Stoney Croft > Netherne Drive > Rookery Mead > Blue Leaves Avenue > Netherne Lane > Woodplace Lane. The road is expected to be reopened by 28th May.
