Footpath 162 between Purley High Street and the station often comes up as a problem area with mess, including excrement.
I've been in touch with Council officers and Veolia about this footpath. Not only do these issues pose a public health risk but they deter residents from using the footpath for access to/from the station.
I'm pleased to report that the footpath has been cleaned this week and have asked the officers and Veolia to keep a close eye on this spot. I'm sure you'll all agree looking from the pictures that the footpath looks in much better condition.
