I've reported previously on the situation at Higher Drive Rec and the moving on of the travellers who encamped there.
Most of the rubbish has been removed, but there are still some flytips in the bushes between the park and Higher Drive and also on the other side of the park by Sherwood Oaks where garden waste has been dumped.
I spoke to the parks department today to ensure that these were scheduled to be taken away. The team has confirmed that they will removed as much as possible over the next couple of months, as it will be easier to access the vegetation in the winter months.
