Fixing Croydon’s Finances – Public Q&A
To fix Croydon's finances, a 15% increase in Council Tax is being proposed, alongside a number of savings and changes to the way the Council works. There will be an online meeting on WEDNESDAY 15/2 from 7:30-9:00pm to give a chance for members of the public to question Croydon’s senior cabinet member Cllr Jason Cummings and Director of Finance Jane West about these decisions. The meeting is being led by the Council's Scrutiny committee, which is an independent group of councillors from different parties who are charged with scrutinising the budget in the public interest.
