Hopefully Wineham's will cut back their vegetation soon on Mitchley Hill. The shrubs, grass and weeds are now overtaking the pavement so important for residents who walk down here to access the doctors' surgery.
The Riddlesdown Residents' Association have been chasing this important issue and I quote:
These photos are taken today (5 Oct). The Council are still just as bad though, with no cutting of the grass verges in Riddlesdown! Probably last done in early May. Absolutely zero consideration for Croydon's residents, especially those with buggies, the blind/visually impaired, disabled etc!!
Perhaps our community litter pick on 16 October, ought to be changed to a grass/vegetation cutting day!"
I hope it will be done in time for the litter pick.
