Both Bradmore Way and Caterham Drive have today experienced glass smashing on to their roads from the glass/plastic recycling lorry.
Residents have had to clean up to avoid vehicles bursting their tyres or children falling on the fragments.
The Council were made aware via the Chief Executive as no one was available on the team and Veolia have been notified to investigate the condition of their vehicle as as there were claims made that there was a hole which allowed the glass to break free from the vehicle.
Waiting to hear back whether this was true and vehicle was not fit for the job it is meant to do.
