I attended the Croydon Health Services NHS Trust AGM - a long title I know and for most of the residents it is the place we still refer to as Mayday. It was interesting to hear from Yemisi Gibbons, Chair and Matthew Kershaw CEO and Place-Based Leader for Health. Partnership working with the BME Forum and Asian Resource Centre plays an important part in the delivery of services at a ground level. Dr Subh Banerjee outlined how expanded use of the virtual wards could allow us to help keep people at home for longer. And we had a lovely patient storey from Mary Dehinbo Director of Midwifery. A most interesting agenda which showed clearly the importance of partnership working.
