Croydon Covid-19 Vaccination Update

There follows the latest COVID 19 Vaccination update from Matthew and Agnelo.  

The NHS in south west London really needs your help. We need as many people vaccinated as possible before 19 July when restrictions are likely to end.

On Saturday, we will be holding a football-focused vaccination session at Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park football ground.  As always, our staff will be on hand to answer any questions people may have about the vaccine.  The event is open to all over-18s but we are promoting it to our younger cohorts as we hope the current interest in football will encourage people to come to the club to get vaccinated.  To guarantee a vaccine on the day people are encouraged to book an appointment at www.nhs.uk/covid-vaccination or walk-in on the day.

Over the weekend, we will be holding many walk-in NHS Covid-19 vaccination sites where anyone aged 18 or over can either reserve a slot via the National Booking Service or walk in on the day. There are still thousands of people who have not yet taken up the offer of a vaccine, which is why we are asking for your help this week to reach the 113,539 unvaccinated 18-29 year olds across our boroughs. With your help, we can build on the 1.5 million Covid-19 vaccinations already given across south west London.
