Mayor Perry has listened to residents concerns and Coulsdon Manor Hotel & Golf Course is now NOT being SOLD .
The previous administration had included the sale of the freehold in its budget without consulting residents.
After the Conservatives took over control following May's election the Council duly consulted residents.
As Councillors for Old Coulsdon Margaret & Nikhill held a public meeting, at short notice, in the Congregational Church, with the lead officer.
The result was an overwhelming No to the Coulsdon Manor Hotel & Golf Course being sold off completely. There is already a 125yr lease in place with over 90 years to run but the main fear was the risk of development despite being Green Belt if the freehold was sold,
Thank you Mayor Perry for taking action and helping Old Coulsdon Councillors listen to their residents. A good result.
