Chris Philp MP: channel crossings up since since Labour were elected

17,529 people have crossed the channel since Labour were elected: +50% on previous 4 months & +15% on same period last year. Scrapping Rwanda before it even started means there is no deterrent. Even the EU is now looking at processing centres outside Europe – this Govt should too.
