I was pleased to visit the Cherry Hub and meet some of the staff and residents enjoying the facilities and learning life skills. The Cherry Hub is not a day centre in the traditional sense - it's a place for people with disabilities to use as part of their personalised activity programmes around the borough. It's also the base for the Active Lives and Croydon Autism Service. The building is fully accessible, with hoists and handrails and Wi-Fi is available throughout.
The Cherry Hub has many facilities including a studio with a sprung floor for exercise, sensory room, training kitchen, activity room with sinks and many other facilities to help develop life skills.
