Last Wednesday’s meeting of the Corporate Parenting Panel was really special for me.
Following on from our successful launch of the Corporate Parenting and Care Leavers Strategies I was joined for the first time by my new Co Chair who is one of our Care Leavers.
He was the successful candidate out of four four brave young Care Leavers who had the courage to come forward for interview.
Along with our wonderful young team of Ambassadors he will bring their voices into the room holding us to account as Corporate Parents.
This is certainly a first for Croydon Council!
