Councillor Scott Roche, Croydon Council Cabinet Member for Streets and Environment, was shown round Littleheath Woods by the Friends of Littleheath Woods, accompanied by local Councillor Robert Ward. Councillor Roche is shown here next to a 1928 boundary marker delineating the boundary of the Borough of Croydon.

Councillor Roche heard of all the great work done by the Friends of Littleheath Woods, and the current challenges they face, exacerbated by the Council's lack of funds. Solutions to these problems were discussed, including working more closely together in partnership, seeking funding from new sources and better communication.
