Yesterday was the final day of Croydon's Borough of Culture year; it was celebrated by many street events, musical and artistic performances, and public space artworks, and in the evening, there was a fabulous concert at Fairfield Hall. There were many excellent performances by artists living and working in Croydon including from its many schools and colleges, and most of the works were also composed by Croydon residents!
