Cllr Nikhil Sherine Thampi and myself along with 5 volunteers attended the continuation of the clean up in the bird sanctuary this morning.
A very frosty morning but the sun shone on us although rubbish was frozen to the ground making that a slower than usual pastime but the volunteers carried on as usual. As the cold weather has kept the nettles and brambles away it was easy to move along the perimeter. Next time which I hope will be Feb 23rd ( tbc) we will concentrate on the public footpath pathway from the Glade towards St John's church.
Despite the cold it was lovely to have 4 residents ( 3 new to the area) stop by and offer help.
