A few residents have been asking me about the arrangements for bin collections over the Christmas period.
The Council has published a leaflet which should have been delivered to all households by now, and it's all posted online here:

However, a few of the leaflets may not yet have been delivered, so here's the important bit: depending on your normal day of collection, the collections during Christmas week, New Year week and w/c 8 January will all be delayed by one to four days, until things get back to normal w/c 15 January.
