I have been contacted by some really worried residents regarding the above planning application
The application proposes to demolish three garages on land behind 172a to 174a Selsdon road and build a house to be attached to 27 Helder Street. I can certainly understand why this application has caused so much anxiety in particular for the residents of no 27 Helder Street. If granted a much bigger house with a higher roof of modern design would be attached to the Victorian terraced house in a road of Victorian houses.
The proposed application would also remove some green space used by the residents and their children of 174a Selsdon road.
Completely out of character and detrimental to adjoining residents I was happy to refer this concerning application to Planning Committee as ward councillor
