I've just received another fake email, this time apparently from Docusign which is a global company which provides an electronic signature service for organisations that need documents to be signed remotely. The email is attached below.
How do I know it's fake?
1) Although I have used the Docusign service before, I'm not currently expecting any documents via that service, so it's likely to be fake
2) The from address is "[email protected]"
3) If I hover the mouse over "review and sign" it reveals that the underlying website is 1220onlinesalessolutions.com which I certainly want nothing to do with.
4) There are some grammatical errors in these sentences which would certainly not appear in an authentic email.
It is an automatically created notification. This letter holds a private details. Please will not display this e mail to others.
5) There are other contextual errors in the rest of the text which just don't make sense.
Be on your guard!
