Cllr. Andy Stranack (Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture) was out and about in the community last week, attending the Re New Addington (ReNa) Meeting on Monday, Shirley Lunch Club on Thursday and the launch of the new defribrillator at the Forestdale Forum on Friday.
Andy commented
"The best part of my role is visiting the grassroots groups and volunteers that make Croydon such a great place to live. The best news of the week was when the chair of the ReNa meeting, my good friend Still Shadey, recieved a MoBo award for best Gospel Act. I also had some great conversations at the Shirley Lunch Club and was able to thank the amazing volunteers who were organising Christmas Hampers for their clients. Finally on Friday I visited the Forestdale Forum for the launch of their new defibrillator, this piece of lifesaving equipment has been provided through the hard work and generosity of the Selsdon and Sanderstead Rotary Group."
