Back in June, I blogged about having objected to the outline plan to replace the elegant Edwardian home at the junction of Higher Drive & Beaumont Road by, inevitably, a block of flats.
156 people wrote in to comment or object on these plans, and I'm delighted to report that the application has recently been turned down. It's re-assuring that just occasionally, utterly inappropriate applications such as this one do get turned down.. thank goodness!
