Many residents will remember with dismay that the former Labour Administration pushed through a huge block of flats to replace a family home at 270 Selsdon rd. On the corner of Selsdon rd Carlton Ave it towers over and dominates homes in both roads. It in no way enhances our local area. The building of the flats has been stop and start and although granted permission at least two years ago it is still not built. It now look a mess with a tarpaulin on the roof to stop leaks and tiles peeling off already.
