Tirena Gunter, was formerly employed as a client account director in the advertising industry but now works as an employment personnel adviser. She is currently a school governor at a local comprehensive and has lived in north Croydon for 25 years.
Matthew has lived and worked in Croydon all his life, from bartender to business management; garnering a deep, personal love for Croydon along the way. Matthew has become a familiar face in local events supporting the nighttime economy of Croydon, now working as a freelance writer for local organisations such as CAMRA and various independent public houses. Hugely supportive of local developments such as Westfield Hammerson and Croydon's Boxpark, Matthew hopes to see a local council that builds on these to strengthen the local economy throughout Croydon and protect vital services for South Norwood, such as South Norwood's Library. In his spare time, Matthew is a keen rugby player and writing hobbyist, with hopes of turning it into a career one day.
Chidi is a business owner, Solicitor and Reverend Pastor. He is passionate about the regeneration of South Norwood, especially its High Street. He is a supporter of a few local enterprises such as Croydon BME Forum, South Norwood Community Kitchen, Another Night of Sisterhood (ANOS) and Croydon Connect. As a criminal lawyer he is keen on reduction of crime in the Ward. He is married and a father of two, and is a Governor of a school in the Borough. Chidi supports the redevelopment at Selhurst Park Stadium and in his spare time plays football when he can, as well as being a motorcycle enthusiast.
