Jeet Bains is a management consultant living in Croydon. Jeet was formerly a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte and now works independently. He hopes to use his management experience in providing a better service to local people. He has lived in Croydon since 1989, is married and has two children in local schools. When not busy being a Taxi Dad, Jeet likes to volunteer with local organisations. He has also been involved in organising the annual Croydon Mela, contributing to inter-faith initiatives, working with Croydon College and Mayday Hospital.
Luke has lived in Croydon for 14 years and prior to becoming elected to represent Coulsdon West ward in 2014 was a former Croydon Councilor for South Norwood ward. From 2006-10 he served as Vice-Chairman of the Planning Committee, Deputy Cabinet Member for Regeneration and was a Trustee of Croydon Council Pension Fund. He was also a school governor, a Safer Neighbourhood Team Ward Panel member and involved in various community interest groups. Luke works as a financial journalist and in his spare time enjoys long distance running.
Mario is a lifelong Croydon resident. He was state educated locally before being the first in his family to go on to university. He now works for Heineken as their Public Affairs Manager. He has previously worked in Parliament as a political adviser for Gavin Barwell, MP for Croydon Central. He has experience working in PR and Marketing at the University of Surrey and the 1994 Group of research-intensive universities.
Mario sits on the Coulsdon Safer Neighbourhood team, the management committee of the Coulsdon Community Centre and on two of Coulsdon's incredible Residents' Associations. Within the Council, he sits on the Scrutiny and Overview Committee, helping to examine the Labour administration's decisions and the impact they have on the whole of Croydon.
He is a big believer in community engagement and is a proud supporter of the Coulsdon Yulefest Christmas festival. It's his ambition to get as many people involved in the political process as possible, regardless of political inclination.
