Mark Johnson

Mark has lived in Croydon for eleven years since moving from Windsor. where he attended the local comprehensive. Mark was the last Chairman of Addiscombe Woodside and Ashburton Neighbourhood Partnership, is a committee member of the Croydon Communities Consortium. He works as a Librarian and has dedicated his life to public service through his community volunteering and his job choices. Mark believes that being a councillor is a calling not a profession. Mark has been campaigning in New Addington since he moved to Croydon in 2006 including for the Leave campaign in the EU Referendum and knows the ward and it's people well. "For far too many it’s about power and money, for me it’s about making a real difference to people’s lives in New Addington".



Tony Pearson

Tony has been active locally for many years and was the Conservative Candidate for New Addington in 2006 before serving as New Addington Councillor from May 2010 to 2014. He is married to Maria and lives in Queen Elizabeth's Drive, New Addington. His family have always had links with New Addington, with many members of his extended family still living in the area. He is a former Commanding Officer of the local NTC unit and was also Chair of Governors at Selsdon High, Vice Chair of Governors at Rowdown Primary School and is now on the Governing Body of Heavers Farm and Selsdon Primary Schools. Tony is a former member of the Reguar Army and supports Help for Heroes and SSAFA, and is currently Chairman of New Addington Royal British Legion. Tony works in Funeral Services as Operations Manager for a national Funeral Company.
