As has been notified by Croydon Council in a letter to local residents, contractors will shortly be commencing road resurfacing of much of Heathfield Vale. The work is planned to take place between 8 am and 6 pm between Friday June 1st and Sunday June 3rd.
On-street parking will be suspended during these working hours with no parking allowed for residents on the highway in the areas covered by the enforcement signs. Penalty charge notices (PCN’s) will be applied to vehicles parked within the suspended areas during the works hours and/or vehicles relocated.
Residents are urged to ensure their vehicles are moved from the suspended areas to avoid any delays to the works as well as incurring any charges. It is also requested that vehicular access to and from properties adjacent to the road is reduced to a minimum during these times. Pedestrian access is unaffected.
Some disruption is inevitable during this work so it is recommended that where possible you use alternative routes or allow extra time to complete your journey.
Unforeseen circumstances may necessitate changes to the schedule and information on road signs will be changed accordingly. Please check the road signs regularly for any updates.
