I am delighted to be selected as the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for Croydon North. My family and I came to Croydon from India 14 years ago, and it is an honour and privilege to have the opportunity to be a Parliamentary candidate for the place I now call home.
Conservative party members in Croydon North have selected Vidhi Mohan to be their parliamentary candidate in next year's General Election.
Vidhi was recently re-elected as a councillor for Fairfield ward and serves as the conservatives' spokesman on Communities, Transport and Environment.
Shortly after his selection, Vidhi said "Croydon North is an area which presents significant challenges. For years Labour MPs have taken voters in the constituency for granted, and have not done anything to improve the lives of local residents. As the parliamentary candidate I will fight for local jobs and regeneration, safe and clean streets, improved services in Croydon University Hospital, and increased investment in local schools.
"It is going to be a challenging year ahead, but I look forward to working with local residents to make Croydon North a better place for everyone."
